Sara Brown Awarded the Kathleen Murphy Partnership Award

Sara Brown was recently nominated and awarded the Kathleen Murphy Partnership Award which was presented to her at Community Crossroad’s premiere biennial “Celebrating Community Partnerships” event on October 6, 2016 at Atkinson Country Club.

The “Kathleen Murphy Community Partnership Award” recognizes an individual whose leadership, actions and collaborative spirit have resulted in a stronger, more respectful sense of community and belonging for citizens of all abilities.

Sara’s lifetime leadership with Play Among The Stars Theatre Groupe and her commitment to sharing her love of the arts with people of different abilities has provided meaningful opportunities for individuals to explore their passion, perform on stage and/or collaborate on a production which is an essential part of living a good life. In her career, 90+ clients have participate in Play Among The Stars Theatre Groupe. Many clients have been in the group from the beginning in 1999.
